
The Honors Banquet scheduled for tonight, April 30, 2025, for Grades 6-12 students has been postponed. We will send out information on the new date and time for the banquet when it becomes available.


Good luck to the Southern Aroostook Middle School Baseball & Softball teams in their home games tonight vs. East Grand. Game times for both games is 3:30pm.


ELEMENTARY LOST AND FOUND: Please take a moment to look at the pictures and see if your child is missing anything. There are a number of black hoodies and black zip-up hoodies and other really nice sweatshirts looking for their homes! Congratulations to Southern Aroostook High School Senior Trafton Russell who was accepted to the University of Maine for the Fall 2025 Semester. Trafton was admitted into the College of Earth, Life and Health Science with a major in Forestry. Trafton also received an merit scholarship of $2,000 annually.


Thursday evening some of our talented students participated in a couple of ASP drama productions. Both casts showcased lots of talent in a murder mystery and a classic fable. Congrats to all involved!

The Southern Aroostook After-School Program Drama Club will be performing “How to Get Away with a Murder Mystery” by Don Zolidis tonight, Thursday April 17th, at 6:00 p.m.. The performance will be held in the SACS Multipurpose Room.
Admission is $5.00. . All proceeds benefit the Southern Aroostook After-School Program.

It has been a fun morning in the elementary school celebrating Career Day! Thank you to our wonderful presenters for speaking to our students about your careers: Austin White- Police Officer, Deanna Boisvert- Cosmetologist, Cassie Baldwin- Graphic Design Artist, Lenora Miller- Pharmacist, and Region 2 Forestry. A shout out to Anderson's Mill Pond Dairy Bar as well for providing us with a powerpoint presentation and popsicles to contribute to our morning!











8th grade trip continued...

8th grade students took a field trip to Presque Isle today! The boys toured UMPI and NMCC and ate lunch in the Reed Commons Dining Hall. 🍕🥤🍦🍪 📚 (some may have gone up for 4ths!! 😮) The girls participated in Trades for ME; a hands on experience to learn about careers in the trades, including building construction, plumbing and heating, forestry, welding, virtual labs (Huber and BIW) and more! 🪵👩🔧👩🔬👩🏼🌾👷♀️👮

During the past 5 days, our elementary school has celebrated the annual Read Across Aroostook Week. We've read lots of books, had class participation challenges and a school wide Stop Drop and Read event! So fun!


During the past 3 weeks our first graders have been exploring holidays, symbols and celebrations in our country. Many books have been read, videos watched, maps used and words written about favorite symbols or monuments. It's been an enjoyed topic with lots of new learning!

Fifth graders studied the rainforest and researched some of the animals that live there. Then they created papier-mâché versions of those animals.
