Notes from the Nurse: Just a reminder that our Fluoride Varnish Program and Dental Sealant Program will be held on Thursday and Friday, January 21st and 22nd. Students who have brought in their permission forms will receive their varnish/sealants on those days. For grades 6-12 and any current 4th and 5th graders planning on playing middle school soccer next year (2021-2022): Annual school sports physicals are planned for Thursday, March 11th. The cost is $15.00 per person, and the physicals will be conducted by our School Physician, Rose Fuchs, M.D. The two required sports physical forms and the $15.00 are due at the time of the physical. The school physical forms are available in the high school and school health offices. If your child sees his/her own physician for a sports physical, please do provide the school with documentation of that physical exam. In keeping with RSU #50 athletic policy, no student will be allowed to participate in practices or games without proof of a physical examination prior to the start of the sports season, and the physical cannot expire within that sports season. There will be no waivers or exceptions. Also, no player will be allowed to participate in games or practices without health insurance. If you do not have your own insurance, school insurance is available for your child. Right now, the basic school-approved plan costs $39.00/year. Information and registration for school health insurance is available at www.1stAgency.com. Please feel free to call should you have any questions. Thank you. Kathy Chamberland, R.N. - School Nurse

Here's the link to the So. Aroostook Middle/High School Band Christmas Video: https://youtu.be/b7NyrYsCAbQ As with elementary concert, the recording was done by Mr McGary's photography class. Because of the Covid-19 restrictions on wind instruments, many of our band students are learning to play string or percussion instruments this year. The kids did a great job. Enjoy!
