Congratulations to Ryder Russel and Frank Drake who have been participating in the Southern Aroostook High School community work study program. These young men were recognized for their outstanding volunteer work at Houlton Regional Hospital. This year, Frank volunteered 65 hours this year. Over the past two years, Ryder has clocked a total of 170 volunteer hours. Great job guys !

Congratulations to Southern Aroostook High School Senior Trafton Russell who was accepted to the University of Maine for the Fall 2025 Semester. Trafton was admitted into the College of Earth, Life and Health Science with a major in Forestry. Trafton also received an merit scholarship of $2,000 annually.

The performance will be held in the SACS Multipurpose Room. Admission is $5.00. . All proceeds benefit the Southern Aroostook After-School Program.

Thank you to our wonderful presenters for speaking to our students about your careers: Austin White- Police Officer, Deanna Boisvert- Cosmetologist, Cassie Baldwin- Graphic Design Artist, Lenora Miller- Pharmacist, and Region 2 Forestry.
