A reminder to So. Aroostook High School students and parents that there will be a So. Aroostook Scholarship Fund meeting tonight at 5:30pm. The meeting will be held in the SACS cafeteria. The topic for the meeting will be the Super Bowl sandwiches fundraiser to benefit the Class of 2022. Hope to see you there.

Schedule change for the So. Aroostook High School girls basketball team. SA girls will be traveling to Fort Fairfield on Friday January 14th, game time is now 6:00pm. SA girls home game vs. Calais High School will now be played on Saturday January 15th, game time will be 1:00pm. Good luck girls!

So. Aroostook students participating in the after-school program are now able to participate in the Ski for Life program offered at Big Rock Mountain in Mars Hill. The conditions were great for skiing last Thursday. Thank you to the So. Aroostook after-school program staff for creating this opportunity for our students.

Congratulations to So. Aroostook High School senior Julia Murray on her acceptance to University of New England into the Nutrition program. She has also been awarded a $14,000 University Merit award.

Thank you to Faye Drew for this wonderful donation of mittens that she made for our elementary students! They will certainty keep all our little hands warm during our winter recesses.

Congratulations to So. Aroostook High School senior Brianna Daggett on her acceptance to the University of Maine at Augusta in the Pre-Dental program. She was awarded the Dean’s Academic Scholarship worth up to $12,000. Also, Bri has been accepted to the University of Maine at Farmington in Liberal Arts where she has received a merit scholarship worth $8,000.

Congratulations to So. Aroostook High School senior Ethan Webb on his acceptance to Eastern Maine Community College in the Electricians Technology program. Ethan has also been accepted to Northern Maine Community College in the Electrical & Maintenance AAS program.
