Congratulations to Southern Aroostook High School Senior Ennara Billotti on her acceptance to the University of Maine at Presque Isle and also to the University of Southern Maine. Ennara has also received a $3000 Dirigo Scholar Award from University of Southern Maine.

Congratulations to So. Aroostook High School Senior Esther Greene on her selection as the State of Maine Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award essay winner!! With the award, Esther has earned a $200.00 scholarship.

The So. Aroostook Community School 8th Grade class is raffling three Easter Baskets. Tickets are $1 each, available now through April 13th
Tickets can be purchased from 8th grade students or from the HS Office
Each basket contains toys, crafts and candy (lots of candy!)
Winners will be drawn on April 14th (drawing streamed live on the RSU 50 Facebook page). Winners can pick up their basket on April 15th

There will be a reception the State Championship Basketball teams tonight at 6:00pm at So. Aroostook Community School. There will be an opportunity to congratulate the teams and have a dessert. All are welcome. Donations will also be accepted at the door for the teams.

Tomorrow is an Early Release Day, and students will be dismissed at 11:15 am.
Our elementary custodian, Mr. Sam, and his wife, donated these boots to our students! Thank you so much to both of them for their generosity. We will definitely be getting these out to kids who need them and use the rest for spares.

So. Aroostook Grades 8-11 students toured the Region Two Career and Technical Center in Houlton today. Students had an opportunity to learn more about the programs offered at Region Two. Thank you to the Region Two administration and instructors for hosting us!!




Great to see So. Aroostook High School represented at the MABC Maine McDonalds All-Star Weekend! Congrats to Hunter Burpee and Coach Cliff Urquhart!

On Wednesday March 16th, there will be a reception for the So. Aroostook High School Girls & Boys Basketball teams at 6:00pm in the SACS multipurpose room. The teams and coaches will be there with the gold balls. There will also be light refreshments. There will also be an opportunity for people from the public to make a donation for the teams to go towards purchasing championship memorabilia for the players. Also, in the next few days, be looking for information from the school about State Championship t-shirts, hoodies, etc which will be available for the public to purchase. Proceeds from the sales will benefit the teams.
