Its a busy afternoon for Southern Aroostook Athletics.
The Varsity Golf team is traveling to Presque Isle for a match against Ashland High School. Match time is 3:30pm.
The Varsity Houlton/Hodgdon/So. Aroostook Cooperative Football team will be playing in Houlton tonight vs. Orono High School. Game time is 7:00pm.
The Middle School Boys Soccer team will be traveling to Easton for a 3:30pm game. Good luck to all the teams playing today!!!

Good luck to the So. Aroostook High School girls and boys soccer teams this afternoon in their first home games of the season vs. at Central Aroostook High School. Game time for both teams is 3:30pm.
Also, if you attend the game, check out the concession stand near the small soccer field. All proceeds from sales benefit the Class of 2023. The Class of 2023 will be selling bottled water, soda, popcorn, candy. We will also be adding more items as the season progresses including grilled cheese sandwiches, hot dogs, "walking tacos", coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider, and more.
The So. Aroostook Middle School girls and boys soccer teams open the regular season this afternoon at home. The boys will be playing Easton Middle School. The girls will be playing Ashland Middle School. Game time is 3:30pm for both teams . Good luck!!!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the So. Aroostook School Food Pantry scheduled for Thursday will not be open. The Food Pantry will resume in September.

Practice's will be held at VaJoWa Golf Course. We encourage anyone who is interested in playing to join regardless of experience. Please contact the school if you have any questions
The Southern Aroostook Community School Food Pantry will be open on Thursday August 18th at 12:30pm.
If any Southern Aroostook High School students are looking for community service hours in the next few weeks, before school starts, please contact either Ms. Greene or Mr. Porter via email. There a few opportunities coming up and could be a great chance for you to take care of some of the required community service hours for graduation.
For an example: York's of Houlton is asking for high school students to volunteer for a few hours on Thursday, August 18th for their annual Kids Day. Volunteers are needed from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. We are also looking for volunteers to help teachers set-up their classrooms before school starts.
