So. Aroostook High School National Honor Society members spent time yesterday afternoon, after school, engaged in some community service. They assisted in planting flowers for Green Valley Association. Thank you to NHS advisor Hilary Lane for helping to coordinate this for our students.

On Tuesday June 7th, So. Aroostook High School will host a Class D playoff softball game with # 11 Jonesport-Beals High School playing # 6 Southern Aroostook High School. Game time will be 12:30pm. Good luck Warriors!!

On Monday, the So. Aroostook High School Band had the opportunity to participate in the Memorial Day Parades in Oakfield and in Island Falls. Thank you So. 8th Graders at So. Aroostook Middle School are working on scales in Math class. Students had to come with a scale system and build a model of their "dream home" from their blueprints.
So. Aroostook High School students participated in our annual "Community Service Day" to help give back to our community that gives so much for our students. Here is a picture of some students doing some work in the local playgrounds in Island Falls and Oakfield.
Our annual “Bikes for Books” assembly took place this afternoon, courtesy of the Masons. Participating students in K-5 have been reading books and entering tickets into the drawing.
