It is with great pleasure that I extend CONGRATULATIONS to Alyssa Crandall on her acceptance to Hofstra University in New York. This is her "dream school" and they offered her a Provost Scholarship of $28,000 per year for a total of $112,000 over four years!! 🤑😀👏👏👏
Alyssa also received acceptance letters from UMass Boston ($12,000 Merit Scholarship) and Westfield State University ($1,000 Dean Scholarship). Alyssa intends to study Psychology.
Congratulations, Alyssa! We are proud of you!

Congratulations to Shayna McMannus on her acceptance to Southern Maine Community College! Shayna is planning to major in Business Administration. Shayna also filed the FAFSA recently. Filing a FAFSA is the single most important thing you can do to get money for college. It’s a gateway to college grants, work study, federal student loans, and state based aid.
Congratulations, Shayna! Proud of you!

So. Aroostook High School Chemistry Class students performed an oxidation-reduction reaction to create a “silver mirror” by lining the inner glass with a fine layer of silver metal. This was a fun and unique lab that generated a lot of excitement while giving them something special to take home and share.
