Students from the Southern Aroostook High School National Honor Society (NHS) attended the Regional Convention at Caribou High School yesterday. They participated with many NHS members from other schools in the region. Students worked on a service project to create floral arrangements for the Aroostook House of Comfort and participated in leadership activities with the Army National Guard. So. Aroostook High School Class of 2024 is raffling off two tickets for the Lainey Wilson Concert at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on June 29, 2023. Lainey Wilson took home three of the top awards at the Country Music Awards last night, including the coveted Entertainer of the Year Award, Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year. Raffle Tickets are $10 each. The winner will also receive a $100.00 gift certificate for Longhorn Steakhouse. The drawing will be held on December 15, 2023. You can call the school if interested in purchasing a ticket or see a So. Aroostook Senior. Thank you to KIXX FM 94.7 for donating the tickets to the class.
