Members of the So. Aroostook Scholarship Fund served ice cream sundaes to students in the elementary for their participation in the "Pennies for Seniors" drive. Thank you to everyone who participated!!!
Southern Aroostook High School student Ryder Russell was recognized for his volunteer work at Houlton Regional Hospital. He was presented with a certificate and gift by Janet Vose director of volunteer services. So far this year Ryder has clocked 75 community service hours at HRH. Great Job Ryder!!
Fifth graders learned about calculating volume in math. At the end of the unit, students created an animal out of boxes and calculated its volume. We call it the Fifth Grade Volume Zoo!

Twelve HS students toured NMCC and UMPI today and ate lunch in the NMCC cafeteria. What a great experience to see all of the programs offered at each institution! Students were tired by the end of the walking tours and should sleep well tonight! 😴🤣 These students represented our school and community very well!

In honor of World Autism Month and the last day of Read Across Aroostook Week, students made chalk rainbows in the library after hearing the story "The Chalk Rainbow" 🌈
On March 29th, Region Two School of Applied Technology had a pinning ceremony for students in the CNA Program. Congratulations to all of the student who have successfully completed the program and are now a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Happy Career Day! K-5 students are enjoying a morning dressed as an employee of their "dream job" while they hear from some professionals in their fields. We have a Vet. Tech., Physician Assistant, Maine Game Warden, Custodian and Foresters on site with us!
