I was in Mrs. Greene's office on Wednesday and saw her stash of yoga mats for her upcoming yoga class she's starting with some high school students. She inspired me to do yoga with some elementary classes today followed up with conversations about ways to keep our bodies and minds in control. The students were impressive, to say the least!
Mrs. Harbison's 6th Grade class took some time yesterday to celebrate Earth day by picking up some trash from around the outside of the building. Earth Day is next week on Thursday April 22nd.
The SACS Food Pantry will not be open today. We will post information about the next food pantry delivery day when it becomes available.
Mrs. Brewer's class made paper machete piggy banks yesterday. They did a great job! Thank you for sharing Mrs. Brewer.

Fifth grade made sun dials today in science!
Our first graders are so excited about their chalk city they made at recess today that they requested it be posted on Facebook! Mrs. B. brought in some Matchbox cars for them to drive through their city. They had a blast!
