So. Aroostook Middle School Soccer teams played well at Katahdin today. Girls won 6-1 and the boys lost 2-1. Their next games will be this Saturday at Presque Isle Middle School.

The Southern Aroostook Afterschool Program starts next week on Monday September 13th for students in grades 3-12. ASP runs from 2:30-4:30 each day. If you wish to enroll your child in the program, please contact ASP coordinator, Shannon Mathers here at school.

So. Aroostook Senior Chris Caswell has been nominated for the 92.9 Sports Athlete of the Week for his outstanding performance on the football field last weekend. Chris racked up 178 yards and three touchdowns in a 74-6 victory over Ellsworth in varsity football. On defense, he had 7 tackles and a 99-yard interception return for a touchdown. The After School Program is sponsoring "Hat Day" every Friday again this year! If a student would like to wear a hat all day, the cost to participate is 1 dollar. Have fun with it!
