Veterans’ Parade and Lunch
Southern Aroostook Elementary School would like to invite all Veterans from the Southern Aroostook District to a parade and lunch. Veterans may choose to receive two take-home meals or they may bring a guest and join us inside for lunch. All Veterans will participate in the parade and pick up their take-home meals or come inside for lunch where a small appreciation celebration will take place with the elementary students.
Please arrive at 10:45 am to line up your car for the parade. Drive around the school clockwise to get in line for the parade. There will be cones set up on the road at the beginning of our playground area. Cars should line up bumper to bumper behind the cones. The parade will start at 11:00 am with the Veterans driving on the road that goes through our playground area. Students will be lined up on each side of the driveway with flags to wave to the Veterans as they drive through.

Menu: Mashed Potatoes, Roast Turkey, Stuffing & Gravy, Cranberry Sauce, Squash, Homemade Roll, Pumpkin Squares and Milk
