So. Aroostook High School Senior Christopher Mitchell , aka “The Mayor of Island Falls,” is well known by everyone in the Southern Aroostook community. Christopher is a #1 fan of WHOU radio. He has done a guest appearance as well as makes daily requests to the radio station. Christopher is the two-time So. Aroostook High School School “Spirit Award” Winner. This is the first time in the history of the school that an individual has earned the award more than once.
Christopher has many hours of community service setting up for the So. Aroostook monthly food pantry. He is active in many community activities. He enjoys fishing and riding in his side by side. He also enjoys being with friends and family. Christopher enjoys working with tools and building anything.
Christopher’s future plans include getting a job with WHOU 100.12 FM as a broadcaster. Christopher is the son of Chris Mitchell and Bobbi Jo Conrad.
