The pooled testing program requires that certain protocols be followed with regards to pooling, rapid antigen testing, parent notification and reporting back to the State of Maine. This is a process that requires multiple successive days to complete. The State Consultant at the Maine Department of Education has recommended that during shortened student weeks, we suspend pooled testing due to these time/testing/notification constraints and resume normal pooling the following week.
Due to these recommendations, we will not conduct pooled testing the following weeks:
week of 11/8, 11/22, 12/20 2021 and 3/14/22.
These weeks contain holidays/early release days/workshop days or any combination as such and would not allow for full testing protocol to be followed.
A reminder will be sent out when a week is to be suspended. Thank you so much for your time and understanding.
