So. Aroostook High School Senior Skyla Nelson participated in the Certified Nurses Assistant program at the Region Two School of Applied Technology in Houlton. Skyla has also been a member of the So. Aroostook Varsity Soccer team.
Skyla has given back to her community through her service work which includes assisting with the SACS Community Service Day, volunteering at SACS Soccer Intramurals, and volunteering at the SACS Clothing Drive.
Skyla has worked part-time at Vacationland Estates in Island Falls, Madigan Estates Nursing Home, and Irving Big Stop which are both located in Houlton, Maine. Her future plans are to continue to work and to begin taking college courses at Northern Maine Community College to pursue a career in the medical field. Skyla is the daughter of Jason Nelson and Dianna Goodall.
