Southern Aroostook High School senior Connor Lane will graduate with honors in June as a member of the Class of 2026. A dedicated member of the high school band for all four years, their talent and hard work culminated in earning prestigious All-Aroostook Band honors, a testament to his dedication to the craft.
Connor rarely took a season off, contributing to multiple varsity athletic programs throughout their high school career. Their versatile athletic resume includes playing basketball for three years, soccer for two years, and baseball for two years. When not competing or practicing, Connor consistently found time to give back to others. They have been a frequent volunteer at the SACS Food Pantry and have pitched in multiple times to support the SACS community clothing drives. In addition to their school and community commitments, Connor has spent time gaining valuable customer service and workforce experience while currently working at The Slice in Island Falls
This fall, Connor will turn their focus toward a hands-on, high-demand industry. Connor plans to attend Northern Maine Community College (NMCC) to major in Building Construction Technology. Connor is the son of Richard & Gail Lane.
