Southern Aroostook High School senior Lincoln Hardy will graduate with honors in June as a member of the Class of 2026. Lincoln has consistently proven himself both in the classroom and on the court, earning High Honors for his academic achievements. His high school athletic career kicked off with a historic milestone, winning the Northern Maine and State Basketball Championship during his freshman year. Over his high school career, Lincoln played three years of basketball, a year of soccer, and a year of baseball. His athletic dedication culminated senior year with selections to the All-Aroostook team and the Aroostook League Senior All-Star Game for basketball.
Lincoln attended Region Two School of Applied Technology for two years, completing the Residential Electrical program. He holds professional certifications in OSHA Safety and First Aid & CPR.
Lincoln has gained valuable industry experience working at Katahdin Forest Products in Oakfield and his current role at Maine Cedar Specialties in Ludlow. Lincoln frequently volunteers his time to support local youth and his community. His volunteer work includes:
Coaching and refereeing youth sports
Mentoring athletes at the SACS Hoop Camp
Participating in the SACS Community Service Day
Following graduation, Lincoln plans to enter the workforce, with goals of becoming a millwright and working in a lumber yard. True to his passion for athletics, he also plans to stay heavily involved in sports by coaching and mentoring the younger generation. Lincoln is the son of Nate and Janelle Hardy.
