Southern Aroostook High School Senior Dillan Bishop will graduate with honors in June as a member of the Class of 2026. Dillan is a member of the National Honor Society and has also served as Class Vice President during both his Freshman and Sophomore years. Dillan is also an active member of the SACS Scholarship Program.
Dillan is a dedicated three-sport athlete, Dillan has brought grit and talent to every season:
Varsity Basketball: A 4-year veteran of the program, Dilan reached the ultimate goal as a State Champion during his freshman season.
Soccer: In his two years on the soccer pitch, Dillan made them count, earning All-Aroostook honors for his performance.
Baseball: A 4-year mainstay on the diamond, Dillan is currently wrapping up his senior season with high hopes for postseason play.
Outside of the classroom and off the field, Dillan believes in giving back. He has been volunteer for the SACS Clothing Drives and at the SACS Food Pantry. Many in the community will also recognize Dillan from his time working at Jerry's Thriftway in Island Falls, where he has balanced the responsibilities of employment with his busy school and athletic schedule.
As he looks toward the fall, Dillan is weighing his options for higher education. Whether he chooses to begin his journey at a two-year community college or head straight to a four-year university, we know he carries the work ethic and leadership skills to be successful in whatever field he chooses. Dillan is the son of Joey and Karla Bishop.
