Austin Tarr will graduate with honors from Southern Aroostook High School in June. Austin is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. Austin participated in the Region Two School of Applied Technology Outdoor Leadership program, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Austin also competed and was involved with SkillUSA. Austin played high school soccer and also participated in Track & Field.
Outside of school, Austin has volunteered at the SACS Food Pantry, the Annual SACS Community Service Day, and local craft fairs. Austin also participated in the Border Patrol Explorers Program. After graduation, Austin will be volunteering for two years of missionary service and then to pursue a career as a Border Patrol Agent. Austin is the son of Charlie and Evelyn Tarr.
