Ethan Collier will graduate with honors from Southern Aroostook High School in June. Ethan has consistently demonstrated academic excellence and will graduate in the top 5% of his class. Ethan is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars. He has been honored at the Houlton Rotary Luncheon for his leadership and academic excellence. Ethan is an active member of the SACS Scholarship Fund,
Ethan has been very active in high school athletics here at Southern Aroostook participating in a variety of activities. Ethan has played varsity basketball for four years and was a member of the two-time Class D State Championship teams in 2022 and 2023. Ethan has earned All-Aroostook honors in basketball, was selected to participate in the Aroostook Senior All-Star Game, and was also selected as a MABC McDonald’s Senior All-Star. Ethan has played four years of varsity soccer, earning All- Aroostook Honors and also scored 76 career goals. Ethan has also played varsity baseball earning All-Aroostook Honors his junior season.
Ethan has also given back through volunteering with the SACS Food Pantry, the SACS Clothing Drive, and volunteering at the Annual SACS Community Service Day. Outside of school, Ethan has worked part-time for Northern Maine Railways and also worked two summers in carpentry.
After graduation, Ethan will be attending the University of Maine and then take the Maine Track MD program to become a physician. Ethan is the son of Todd and Janelle Collier.
