Jacob Ellingwood will graduate with honors from Southern Aroostook High School. Jacob is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars. He has been honored at the Houlton Rotary Luncheon for his leadership and academic excellence. Jacob has served on student council, is a member of the SACS Scholarship Fund, has served as the class treasurer for the last three years, and served on the Prom Committee. Jacob was also selected to represent So. Aroostook High School at Dirigo State.
Jacob has also given back through volunteering with the SACS Food Pantry, and the Annual SACS Community Service Day. Jacob has also volunteered at the Bethel Church in Oakfield for the last four years, running their livestream feed. Outside of school, Jacob has balanced work and school working part-time at Lawlor Farm, Nightingale Farm, Spring Break, Vacationland Estates, Stiles Construction, Whiteys’s Market, J&A Ellingwood Logging, Keyes Paving and Sealcoating, and Keyes Trading Post.
Jacob has been accepted at Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor and will study Computer Networking and Administration. Jacob is the son of Jonathan and Ashlee Ellingwood.
