Amber McMannus will graduate with honors from Southern Aroostook High School in June. Amber has consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning high honors throughout her four years of high school. Amber is a member of the National Honor Society, the National Technical Honor Society and the Southern Aroostook High School Student Council, currently serving as the vice president. Amber participated in the Region Two School of Applied Technology Culinary Arts program, the Certified Nurse’s Aide Program, and Medical Terminology & Phlebotomy programs. She earned Student of the Quarter in the CNA program during her junior year. She is also a proud recipient of the “Mr. Sherman Math Award”.
Amber has managed for the Varsity Baseball program for the last three years. Amber has contributed to the community through her volunteer work with the SACS Clothing Drive, Flower Grams, and the monthly food pantry here at Southern Aroostook. Amber has been accepted at the University of Maine at Presque Isle and will pursue an Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with her future plans to work as an Medical Lab Technician. Amber is the daughter of Lindsay McMannus.
