Morgan Tarr will graduate with honors from Southern Aroostook High School after attending the Summit Academy for the last four years. Morgan participated in the Region Two School of Applied Technology EMT program her sophomore year, the CNA and Medical Terminology program her junior year, earning Student of Quarter for the 1st quarter, and the Nursing 101 and Phlebotomy program her senior year. Morgan is an active member of the National Technical Honor Society and served as Treasurer for 2024-2025 school year. Morgan is a member of the Bridge Academy Program earning multiple college credits while attending high school. Morgan has also been involved the TRIO Talent Search program.
Outside of school, Morgan has been an active volunteer, volunteering at the Food Bank at the Church on the Hill, backpacks for kids, placing flags on Houlton cemeteries for Memorial Day, and sorting DVDs for Aid for Kids She has also volunteered at the Houlton Humane Society, at Waiting Whiskers, the Pumpkin Walk, and decorating for Serendipitous Dragonfly. After graduation, Morgan plans to attend the University of Maine at Fort Kent to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She aspires to work as a Labor and Delivery Nurse or an Oncology Nurse. Morgan is the daughter of Jeremy and Jenny Tarr.
