Olivia Ellingwood

Olivia Ellingwood will graduate with honors from Southern Aroostook High School. Olivia is a member of the National Honor Society and has been honored at the Houlton Rotary Luncheon for her leadership and academic excellence. While in high school she was the Society of Women in Medicine recipient and the  Society of Women Engineers recipient.  Olivia has served on student council and is a member of the SACS Scholarship Fund.  

Olivia participated in the Southern Aroostook Athletic Programs playing Varsity Basketball for four years and was a member of three Northern Maine and State Championship teams.  Olivia was chosen to play in the All-Aroostook Senior Game her senior season.  Oliva also played Varsity Soccer and earned All-Aroostook Honors.  Olivia has also played Varsity Softball for the last four seasons.   Olivia has also given back through volunteering with the SACS Clothing Drive, the SACS Food Pantry, and the Annual SACS Community Service Day.  She also volunteers at the Bethel Church in Oakfield as a member of the worship team, volunteering at Sunday school and in the church nursery.  

Outside of school, Olivia has balanced work and school working part-time as a paralegal at Pat Hunt's Law Office in Island Falls.  After graduation, Olivia plans to attend Faith Bible College for a year, then go onto medical school at the University of New England. Olivia is the daughter of Jonathan and Ashlee Ellingwood.
