Ryder Russell will graduate from Southern Aroostook High School in June and is a member of the National Honor Society. Ryder has consistently demonstrated academic excellence, making the honor roll numerous times in high school. Ryder has also earned the Southern Aroostook High School “Spirit Award” the last two school years. Ryder has played basketball for the last four seasons and was a member of the two-time Class D State Championship teams in 2022 and 2023. Ryder’s dedication to the music program is evident through his years of participation in the band. Ryder has been a member of the band for the last seven years.
Ryder has contributed to the community through his volunteer work with the SACS Food Pantry and has volunteered over 100 hours at Houlton Regional Hospital. Ryder attends the Bethel Church in Oakfield and is an active member of the youth group. After graduation, Ryder plans to enter the workforce. Ryder is the son of Kilby and Ashley Russell.
