Libby Anderson

Libby Anderson will graduate with honors from Southern Aroostook High School. Libby has served as Secretary of the National Honor Society and has been honored at the Annual Rotary Luncheon for her leadership and academic excellence. Libby attended Region Two School of Applied Technology for one year to earn her Certified Nurses Assistant certification. 

Libby participated in the Southern Aroostook Athletic Program playing Varsity Basketball for four years and was a member of three Northern Maine and State Championship teams.  Libby earned All-Aroostook her senior season and was chosen to play in the All-Aroostook Senior Game and the MABC McDonald’s All-Star Game.  Libby also played Varsity Soccer for five years, beginning in 8th grade.  Libby was a member of Student Council for two years and is also involved in the SACS Scholarship Program, Libby has also given back through volunteering with the SACS Clothing Drive, the SACS Food Pantry, and the Annual SACS Community Service Day.

Outside of school, Libby has balanced work as a waitress at Anderson's Mill Pond Dairy Bar and as a CNA in home care. After graduation, Libby plans to attend Southern Maine Community College to pursue a degree in Nursing. Libby is the daughter of Andrew and Megan Anderson.
