Ryan Doughty will graduate from Southern Aroostook High School after attending the Summit Academy for the last two years. Ryan participated in the Region Two School of Applied Technology Forestry and Auto Technology programs, gaining valuable hands-on experience in both areas.
Ryan played both soccer and basketball in high school. Outside of school ,Ryan has been an active volunteer, helping with the SACS Food Pantry, placing Memorial Day flags for the past two years, and contributing to the Backpacks for Kids program.
Ryan has worked as a laborer at Seedpro. After graduation, Ryan plans to enter the workforce and begin a career at Louisiana Pacific in Houlton. Ryan is the son of Chris and Susan Doughty of Island Falls.
