So. Aroostook High School Senior Andrew “AJ” Lewis participated in the Forest Management Program for two years and the Electrical Program for one year through the Region Two School of Applied Technology in Houlton, will be graduating with honors, and is a member of the National Technical Honor Society.
AJ has been a member of the Varsity Basketball team for four seasons and has been part of two Class D Regional Championship teams and two Class D State Championship teams in 2022 and 2023. AJ has also played football for four years, serving as a team captain for his senior season and earning 2nd Team All-Conference and also named to the All-Academic Team. AJ also played baseball for three seasons, earning All-Aroostook honors twice and was a member of a team that earned a Regional Runner-Up trophy in 2021. AJ also has served as a captain of the baseball team for his senior season.
AJ has volunteered at the SACS Community Service Day and at the Annual Shires Football Summer Clinic. AJ has also worked part-time at Nature Circle Farm. AJ’s future plans are to attend Northern Maine Community College to study in the Electrical Construction and Maintenance Program and then to pursue a career as an electrician. AJ is the son of Andrew and Elizabeth Lewis.
