So. Aroostook High School Senior Drake Weston participated in the Forest Management Program for two years through the Region Two School of Applied Technology in Houlton and will be graduating with honors.
Drake has been a member of the Varsity Basketball team for four seasons and has been part of two Class D Regional Championship teams and two Class D State Championship teams in 2022 and 2023. Drake served as a team captain during his senior season, in which the team recorded its first undefeated season in program history, 22-0. Drake earned numerous awards this past season including All-Aroostook honors, All-Aroostook Senior All-Star, and was also chosen for the Class D All-Tournament Team. Drake has also played Lacrosse for the Northern Maine Moose the last two years, serving as a team captain for his senior season.
Drake has worked part-time at Nature Circle Farm, J.H. McPartlands, & N.S. Giles His future plans are to enter the workforce following graduation for JH McPartlands in the Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning field.. Drake is the son of Mike & Amanda Weston.
