Senior Jacob Brooks

So. Aroostook High School Senior Jacob Brooks is a member of the So. Aroostook Chapter of the National Honor Society and will graduate with honors.  As a junior, Jacob was selected as a delegate to represent So. Aroostook at Dirigo Boys State and also attended the annual Houlton Rotary Luncheon for his outstanding academic achievement and leadership.  Jacob has served on the So. Aroostook Student Council for four years, has served as the Junior Class president, and has actively participated in SACS Dollars for Scholars and TRIO for all four years of high school.  

Jacob has been very active in high school athletics in his time here at So. Aroostook.  Jacob has played Varsity Soccer for the last four years serving as captain this past season. Jacob has also played Varsity Basketball for the last five years earning All-Aroostook Honors during his senior season. Jacob has also played Varsity Baseball since the 8th grade earning All-Aroostook Honors his sophomore season.  Jacob was named the school winner for the Heisman High School Scholarship Program and was also recently recognized as a Senior All-Aroostook Scholar/Athlete Award winner. 

Jacob has given back to his community through his service work which includes helping with the SACS Community Service Day, volunteering at the SACS Food Pantry and the annual SACS Clothing Drive. 

Jacob currently works part-time at Ellis Family Market in Patten, Maine.  His future plans are to attend Eastern Maine Community College to earn a degree in the Electrical field.   Jacob is the son of Robert and Brandy Brooks.
