Southern Aroostook High School senior, Shain Tarr participated in the Forest Management program for three years through the Region Two School of Technology in Houlton. Shain is First Aid/CPR certified, OSHA 10 certified, and also a Master Logger certification.
Shain attended the Summit Academy in Houlton for two years. He participated in a few different community services projects, such as the food pantry at the school and the food pantry in Houlton. Shain also placed flags and helped with some cleanup/landscaping work at the cemetery for Memorial Day.
Shain has worked at Katahdin Forest Products and Sawyer Farm. Shain plans to attend Northern Maine Community College in the near future. Shain is the son of Sterling and Stacey Tarr.
